Magnificent Modern Bathroom in East Cobb

Recently, Atlanta Curb Appeal wrapped up a gorgeous bathroom in East Cobb. New clean lines have transformed this once cramped bathroom into a modern showcase.

They found Atlanta Curb Appeal through two neighbors, who each had had their bathrooms renovated by Atlanta Curb Appeal in the past year. Their decision to renovate their bathroom was simple. It was dated. It wasn’t practical. It wasn’t working for them.

To begin the project, Atlanta Curb Appeal gutted their entire space and reconfigured the layout. They started by relocating the shower and vanities. The original shower was small and tucked behind the door in the back of the bathroom.

Atlanta Curb Appeal typically tries to make the shower the focal point when entering the room, since it’s a feature piece. A seat niche was added to enjoy the full spray of the shower. Showerheads and valves should always be replaced on bathroom renovations since entire walls would have to be ripped out if anything went wrong the old tubing. The client selected the latest in modern bath hardware, a square showerhead.

A quartz countertop vanity was added next. It’s a more durable material and harder than granite. Porcelain tile flooring was selected from Floor and Décor.

Next up was the moving of the toilet area. While the tub remained in the same space, the entire closest was modified to make it more functional. There is a natural flow now between the two areas.

Above the tub is the coup d’etat, a Chulilly-like chandelier that the client personally picked out. It brings a fresh style that you instantly notice when you enter the room.

Overall, this particular renovation took seven weeks because custom countertops had to come in on special order. The homeowners loved the finished project and are thrilled with their new, modern bathroom from Atlanta Curb Appeal.
