Magnificent Country Club Home Get a Master Bath Makeover!

Magnificent Master Bath Makeover!

Recently, Atlanta Curb Appeal wrapped up a master bathroom in the St. Ives Country Club. The bathroom was original to the home and was over 20 years old.

The main problem, the homeowner shared was that the hardware was dated and the overall look was quite behind the times. . The shower walls were the old kind that wrapped all the way around with a small glass door. Plus, the Jacuzzi tub and toilet were green! This was not their first encounter with Atlanta Curb Appeal; previously, crews had done their two other bathrooms and installed a new cedar deck.

Like most renovations, the desire for more space was one of the chief reasons for finally pulling the trigger. Atlanta Curb Appeal’s solution was to add a new cabinet, which helped reduce the clutter on the countertops. Studies show that visual disorder is not only distracting, but it also can create stress.

Originally, above the tub was an old stained glass window. Atlanta Curb Appeal installed a new window that now allows for more natural light to enter the room. After removing the built-in unit, a beautiful modern freestanding tub was added. New floors were installed too, a smooth porcelain tile that looks remarkably like marble. The new countertops are now a beautiful quartz.

Overall it was a smooth project. The wall color they selected is called “Agreeable Gray” from Sherwin Williams, which is quite the popular color these days. The overall color scheme they went with was ‘neutral gray.’ For a perfect finishing touch, beautiful crown molding was also added to this ceiling to give height and drama.

The clients gave us a call to share that they are thrilled with their makeover!
